As I’ve been praying for the Supreme Court over the past few days, weeks, and months, my heart’s cry has been for them to rule in favor of the unborn. When it was leaked recently that they are close to overturning Roe vs. Wade, I was so happy I could barely sleep that night.

My imagination took me to a place in heaven reserved for babies who never got to experience life outside of their mother’s wombs. These babies had left their earthly lives because of many reasons – sickness, abortion, and many other unknown reasons. My 3 were there among multitudes of others.

I wept and wept at the sound bursting forth from the ones who had never gotten the privilege of making their sound on the earth. It was the sound of intercession for their parents as they continue on the earth without them. They cheered wildly, and their roar was so pure.

Surrounded in joy, they cheered for the hope of Heaven to conquer teams of discouragement and despair that their parents face because of their losses. Surrounded in freedom, they cheered for their parents to courageously let God free their souls from teams of bitterness, fear, and regret. Surrounded in peace, they cheered for their parents to allow the Comforter in. Surrounded in love, they cheered for their parents to be filled by the extravagant Lover of their souls.

They cheered for the Kingdom they’re surrounded by to invade their parents’ hearts.

And I say, let it invade mine! Along with heaven’s most beautiful cheering section, my sound on the earth joins in:

May your Kingdom come, Father. As it is in Heaven, may it be so here.
